BARN CONVERSION, OLD ALRESFORD, HAMPSHIRE

This thatched barn was in extremely poor condition although basically complete. We were blessed to have Mr Rutter, a sensible conservation officer, and a carpenter who undertook the complete refurbishment of the frame from start to finish. The finish to the interior was achieved by pre-painting the plaster board and attaching this from the outside.
