WANDSWORTH ROAD, SOUTH LONDON

This complex of buildings was originally an asbestos roofed 1930s dance hall. We had previously refurbished the building as an office for my client’s business, but had had to leave the garages which were still in use. Twenty years later, we built this further office conversion, with a mezzanine floor and exposed trusses. The client’s choice of a heat pump fortunately works because of the very high level of insulation.
